Château Sorbey Haut Medoc Bordeaux 2019

Somewhat confusingly given the literal translation of its name, Haut-Médoc refers to the southern part of the greater Médoc peninsula (this area includes Margaux, Pauillac, Saint-Estèphe and Saint-Julien but Haut-Médoc is the more general appellation).  Made from equal parts Cabernet and Merlot, this wine has a dark, inky, purple color and aromas of ripe black cherries, blackberries and graphite.  The wine has medium to full-body, firm dry tannins and a core of blackberry and plum dark fruit flavors.  This is another excellent find by the Vine.  Enjoy!
