Jean-Michel Gerin La Champine Syrah 2022

Jean-Michel Gerin is based in Côte-Rôtie in the Northern Rhône and La Champine Syrah is an Excellent Value.  Made from 100% Syrah, the wine has a dark, ruby garnet color with fragrant aromas of black berries, black currants and flint.  The wine has medium-body with a rich texture and firm tannins. Lush black raspberry and eucalyptus flavors linger into the tight finish.  Serve this beauty with a rosemary and garlic crusted rack of lamb.
