Gattinara is a small wine-producing region in northern Piedmont specializing in Nebbiolo.  At its finest, the wines from Gattinara rival those from neighboring Barolo and Barbaresco.  Antonio Galloni of Antonio Galloni's Vinous rated this wine 92 points.  “The 2020 Gattinara is a very pretty wine in the classically austere style that is such a signature here.  Crushed red berry fruit, orange peel, mint and rose petal lend lovely complexity throughout.  This is beautifully done, not to mention a real charmer.”  (Nov. 2023).
