Nino Costa Langhe Nebbiolo 2023

Langhe is a region neighboring Barolo and Barbaresco, and Nebbiolo is the noble grape used in those wines.  While Barolos can age for decades, Langhe Nebbiolos are made fresh and fruit-forward for an early-drinking style.

Nino Costa's Langhe Nebbiolo is made from 100% Nebbiolo from 30 year old vineyards situated in Montà at an altitude of 280-320 meters above sea level on sandy soils. Grapes are fermented in stainless steel and aged in a mix of steel and wood barrels. This tasty wine has a clear ruby-garnet color and aromas of raspberries, red cherries, eucalyptus and dried herbs.  The wine is juicy and easy-drinking with medium body, dried cherry fruit flavors and a lasting finish.  This is an Excellent Value to have with a grilled porterhouse steak.   Organic
