Marqués de Riscal was established in 1858.   Joaquin Hildago of Antonio Galloni's Vinous rated this wine 91 points.  “The 2019 Reserva is a blend of 94% Tempranillo and 6% Graciano, sourced from a vineyard planted in 1970 in Rioja Alavesa.  This dark purple wine unfurls with aromas of dried plums and balsamic over an oaky layer.  Dry and rich on the palate, the firm tannins are enlivened by an ethereal mouthfeel-a warm, flavorful and overwhelming wine.”  (Dec. 2023).
