Talley was a pioneering Pinot Noir producer in the Arroyo Grande Valley, planting their first vineyard in 1982 and making their first wine in 1986. Antonio Galloni of Antonio Galloni's Vinous rated this wine 90 points.  “The 2020 Pinot Noir Estate is an attractive, mid-weight Pinot.  There is a bit of edginess in the tannin, but all the elements are nicely balanced.  Crushed flowers, sweet red cherry, orange peel and cinnamon all grace this understated, gentle Pinot.”  (July 2023).
