Founded in 1972, Clos du Val earned global recognition in at the famed Judgement of Paris in 1976, where its Stags Leap District Cabernet competed against Bordeaux's famous First Growths.  Antonio Galloni of Antonio Galloni's Vinous  rated this wine 92 points.  “The 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon (Napa Valley) is fabulous.  Rich and sumptuous to the core, the 2021 will be a very easy wine to drink now and over the next decade or so.
