Achaval Ferrer Malbec 2020

Joaquín Hildago of Antonio Galloni's Vinous rated this wine 92 points.  “Achaval Ferrer's 2020 Malbec Mendoza is a blend of grapes from the Uco Valley and Luján de Cuyo, Mendoza that spent nine months in used French oak. Purple in color with a diaphanous but vivid nose of fresh plum, violets and country herbs with a hint of balsam, it's terse in feel with a juicy, delicate flow.  The grippy tannins are supported by the packaged freshness to enhance the long, bold finish.  A well-rounded wine.” (Nov. 2021).  Sustainable.
