Fratelli Serio & Battista Borgogno Barolo 2021

Established in 1897 and based in Cannubi, Borgogno is a storied name in Barolo.  This wine is a terrific find!  This is a bargain for a small production, estate grown Barolo.  The wine has a brick-garnet color and exhibits classic aromas of tart cherry, raspberry and dried herbs.  The wine is still tightly wound, displaying dry tannins, a core of red cherry fruit flavors and a tight finish.  Let this wine breathe for 20-30 minutes to let the wine fully open.  Practicing organic.
