Landhaus Mayer Rosé 2024

A snappy rosé with plenty of Austrian character! Landhaus Mayer is a cooperative of winemakers based in the northern corner of this country bordering the Czech Republic and Slovakia, delivering high quality wines at bargain prices. Made solely from Austria's most planted red grape Zweigelt, this wine hints at its punchy profile with its iridescent pink hue. Red fruits and flowers abound on the nose. Strawberry and Bing cherry on the front of the palate give way to underlying brambly fruit and the zippy, slightly effervescent acidity that makes Austrian rosés so popular.
