Berger Gruner Veltliner 2024

Grüner Vertliner (or just “grooner”) is an under-appreciated wine from Austria. This wine is an awesome value and comes in a One Liter bottle! The wine is dry, crisp and delicious, with a light pale straw color and aromas of apple, citrus and melon. The wine is rich yet taut, with nice texture and minerality, displaying flavors of granny smith apple, lemon rind and notes of white pepper. This is a delicious wine to keep as a house pour.
