Menetou Salon Morogues Blanc

Menetou-Salon is an under-the-radar appellation located next to Sancerre in the Loire Valley.  Like some of the best wine-growing regions, the soil around the town of Morogues is primarily Kimmerdgian limestone.  Made from 100% Sauvignon Blanc, this wine has a pale straw color and aromas of citrus, green apple and freshly cut herbs.  The wine is bright and generous, with medium body, tangy yellow grapefruit, green melon flavors, and undertones of minerals and green herbs.  If you like Sancerre, you're going to like  Menetou-Salon.  Practicing Organic.
