Escorihuela Gascon Single Vineyard Malbec 2023

Founded in 1884, Bodegas Escorihuela Gascón captures Mendoza’s high-altitude, cool-climate terroir in this unoaked Malbec from the organic, biodynamic El Cepillo vineyard in Uco Valley.  Deep violet-red, it reveals a fragrant nose of fresh plum, raspberry, blackberries, mint, and dried herbs.  Bold yet juicy, with a medium-to-full body, taut tannins, and a vibrant, lingering finish, it emphasizes pure varietal expression.  This is another great find.  Organic; Biodynamic.
