Antonio Galloni of Antonio Galloni's Vinous rated this wine 94 points. “The 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon, from vineyards in Paso Robles, is bright and punchy, with plenty of forward dark fruit. A touch of savoriness from the 10% Petit Verdot and a hint of sweetness from the French oak add layers of complexity and dimension. This is another gorgeous wine from Louisa Lindquist and Verdad.” (July 2023).
Erin Brooks of Robert Parker's The Wine Advocate rated this wine 91 points. “The 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon is blended with a small portion of Petit Verdot and was matured for 18 months in 40% new French oak. It has slowly unfurling aromas of blackcurrant, maraschino cherry, cigar box, pencil shavings and violet. The medium-bodied palate has a core of ripe yet understated, mineral-laced fruit. It has a frame of grainy tannins, seamless acidity and a long, floral finish. It will benefit from 2-3 years in bottle.” (Jan. 31, 2023).

This three-vineyard blend is a solid choice for the cellar. Aromas of crushed stone and raspberry lead from the nose into a lighter bodied palate whose gravelly, chalky texture frames flavors of raspberry, cranberry and just enough baking spice. Drink now-2039.

The 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon (Paso Robles) is a potent, savory wine. There's good energy here, but the challenges of the growing season are evident, especially in the quality of the tannins. Crushed flowers, white pepper, mint and bright red-toned fruit extend the finish.
