Rosso Piceno is the largest DOC of the Marche region located in central Italy and these wines are Excellent Values.  Sourced from vineyards located 20 miles from the Adriatic Sea,  this wine is made from 70% Montepulciano and 30% Sangiovese, sporting a dark, ruby-purple color and aromas of black cherries and earth.  Brawney, savory and a bit rustic, the wine is dry with noticable tannins, medium body, dark fruit flavors and a lasting finish.  This is another great find by the Vine.  Enjoy!
